Compared to the same month in the previous year, this corresponds to a whopping plus of 58 percent.

Hybrid vehicles with 38.7 percent (102,369) had the largest proportion among the new registrations in July 2025. Petrol is in second place at 27.3 percent (72,192). BEV follow – and only then with 15.3 percent car with diesel drive (40,529).
The increase in new registrations among the electric cars is likely to be due to falling battery and manufacturer prices as well as tax breaks.
