AI functions are already firmly anchored in many smartphones. But which provider is ahead here? We present the Apple Intelligence, Google Gemini and Samsung Galaxy Ai in comparison.
Whether Apple Intelligence, Google Gemini or Galaxy Ai-many smartphones are already equipped with numerous AI features today. These are also well received by the users, such as one Bitkom survey to use AI functions on the smartphone.
Accordingly, around 72 percent of respondents in Germany use at least one AI function on their smartphone. Around 58 percent of those surveyed use voice assistants such as Alexa, Siri or Hey Google. 48 percent use chatbots such as Chatgpt, Gemini or Perplexity. Only 26 percent of the respondents stated that they did not use a smartphone AI at all.

Which smartphone AI convinces the most?
Artificial intelligence on smartphones is now quite mature. In this way, users can write texts or have pictures generated or processed. Many of the AI functions are now also integrated directly on the smartphone-so there is no further application here.

1. Apple Intelligence on the iPhone

However, this only applies to the Pro models of the iPhone 15 and all models of the iPhone 16. Older iPhone does not yet support the AI functions.
Although the smartphone AI and their functions are quite similar, Apple and Samsung cut off a little better. 2. Galaxy Ai from Samsung
Galaxy Ai from Samsung was also convincing in the test. The smartphone AI is available to many Samsung devices and is located with Apple in the test “Key to front”.
Numerous AI functions are also integrated in the apps at Samsung. This facilitates the application, such as in text processing. However, Samsung only offers five defined writing styles.
Samsung can convince with his smartphone AI, especially when it comes to the image position and processing of photos. With Galaxy AI, users can, for example, remove objects from photos or enlarge them, reduce them or move them to another position. Samsung is also able to add objects, such as sketches of users.

3. Google Gemini
Unlike Apple Intelligence or Galaxy Ai from Samsung, Google’s Gemini can be used on numerous smartphone types, for example on the iPhone. However, this is also a crucial disadvantage.
Because Gemini works via a separate app, users must first copy their content to be processed and insert them again in the app. This can quickly become annoying, especially when working on the text.
However, the advantage of this separate app is that it can be used on all smartphones. For example, iPhone users also have access to the image or processing via Google’s Gemini. Here, too, similar to Galaxy AI, it is possible to remove objects from images, to change their size or to position them differently.
