In the series “Homescreen!” We present the home screens of people from the social media, marketing, media and tech industries – including app recommendations. Today: Ricardo Tunnissen, CEO of Baufi Germany.

I use my smartphone as a mobile control center for my everyday business and investment work. For me, every app on my home screen is a tool that supports me in my three central areas: in the real estate business, in my investments & finances and in my network as an entrepreneur.

Since I’m constantly on the move between Baufi Deutschland, Immo Deutschland and my own real estate projects, my cell phone is basically my operational dashboard – always at hand, whether in the office, on a construction site or between two appointments.

AI power for speed in everyday life

Speaking of “tools”: AI has long played a central role in my everyday life. ChatGPT is therefore at the forefront. I use it to create drafts for exposés or initial profitability calculations within seconds. This applies to our brands Baufi Deutschland and Immo Deutschland as well as to my own real estate projects.

Canva complements the whole thing visually: When I prepare presentations for the Real Estate Academy or graphics for Meta Ads ManagerWhen I produce campaigns, I often do this directly from my cell phone. This combination of AI and design tools ensures that we as a company communicate, test and produce extremely quickly.

Documents, processes & administration – everything digital

In order for all of these processes to work, I need central access to documents – whether bank documents, exposés or rental documentation. OneDrive is my digital filing cabinet for this. Our internal intranet via Memberspot in turn bundles all training, onboarding and workflows from Baufi Deutschland and Immo Deutschland.

And because there is a lot of paper in the real estate world, all of the property mail ends up on end Caya digitized directly on my cell phone, which is an enormous gain in efficiency, especially with multiple apartment buildings.

Finance & Market – Decisions in Real Time

I also control a lot of things financially directly from the home screen. The banking apps Savings Bank and VR banking I use it to check transactions, monitor rent receipts or release tradesman invoices.

At the same time, I hold on Finance100 Stay up to date on economic trends, interest rate developments and market signals – simply indispensable for someone who makes financing decisions on a daily basis.

Find, check & document properties

As far as market observation is concerned, ImmoScout24 and Classifieds my constant companion. There I check potential investments, observe price signals or compare locations before we start pricing with owners at Immo Deutschland.

IKEA It may seem unusual, but it is highly functional for me: I use the app regularly for furnished apartments, kitchen planning or quick furnishing ideas. And because documentation is crucial for real estate, I keep a lot of conditions, construction progress and property inspections directly on the property Photos-App fixed.

Communication, team hub & community

Communication is probably the biggest block of my day. Microsoft Teams acts as my team hub – customer discussions, internal coordination and project updates from both companies come together there. Outlook and Telecom mail ensure that no process is left behind.

LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook I use it both as an entrepreneur and for brand building and reach. And for the real estate academy Discord our central community location: This is where exchanges with hundreds of investors take place – in real time, very approachable and often extremely valuable for everyone involved.

Marketing in your pocket

I also control marketing directly via my smartphone. The Meta Ads Manager shows me at a glance which campaigns are performing, where there is a need for optimization or which leads are currently arriving at Immo Deutschland. In an industry where speed and responsiveness determine orders, I want to keep this in mind at all times.

In the end, my home screen is nothing more than a condensed version of my entire everyday life: real estate, finance, entrepreneurship and communication – everything connected, everything controllable on the move. That’s exactly why each of these apps has its permanent place, because it enables me to manage Baufi Deutschland, Immo Deutschland and my own investments in an agile, data-based manner and able to act at any time.
